Pastor: Dawn Ranck-Hower
Dawn became pastor at New Holland Mennonite Church in August 2014. She graduated from Eastern Mennonite Seminary in 2002 with her Master of Divinity, following sociology studies at both Millersville University and Eastern Mennonite University. She served for 11 years as the Associate Pastor at Plains Mennonite Church in Hatfield, PA.
A pastor’s kid raised on a pig farm in southern Lancaster County, Dawn learned early how to move easily between barnyards and church aisles. She and her husband Bryan love to explore—whether hiking wooded trails, kayaking quiet waters, wandering new cities, or pulling out their passports for an overseas adventure.
Dawn has a deep love for people and an abiding curiosity about the stories that shape their lives. She is an activist and is actively involved with Mennonite Action, both locally and nationally.
She and Bryan are rooted in the New Holland community, sharing their home (and their laps) with three cats: Bella, Smudge, and Pippin.
