Pastor: Dawn Ranck-Hower
Dawn became pastor at New Holland Mennonite Church in August 2014. Before that, she graduated from Eastern Mennonite Seminary in 2002 with her Master of Divinity, following sociology studies at both Millersville University and Eastern Mennonite University. She served for 11 years as the Associate Pastor at Plains Mennonite Church in Hatfield, PA.
Dawn, daughter of a pastor and raised on a pig farm in southern Lancaster County, learned early how to navigate both barnyards and church aisles with equal ease. She and Bryan love exploring—whether it’s wandering through new cities, hiking wooded trails, kayaking quiet waters, or pulling out their passports for an overseas adventure. Dawn has a deep love for people and an endless curiosity about the stories that shape their lives. She and Bryan stay rooted in the New Holland community, where they share their home (and plenty of lap space) with their three cats: Bella, Smudge, and Pippin.
